BIO 1994 Luelle and Rob are the last members of the multicultural Crossover project ”LEZ RP” they have the idea of creating  something special. Rob is spending some time in San Francisco and makes a lot of musical experiences there. He comes back deeply impressed from the multiethnic musicscene and the unfortunatly commercialised ”Love and  Peace Spirit”,but anyway, it still lives if you search it. DONGACLASS is born, to the first rehearsals as a Duo was Ingo on the bass the perfect  extension. 1995 In an extremly fast time the band  does something like a regional career. Gigs and gigs around lake constance. To do an own CD we found the label DONGAMUSIC,  recordings... 1996 First longplayer ”Yield” hits the ears of the public. The alternativ musicpress is  enthusiastic about it, the musicbussines hesitates, you can’t sell that thang. Gigs...Rob is hanging round in Seattle, ...smells like teen spirit... 1997 First Deal with a famous Indie label but unfortunatly the label policy changes,  they decide to release just tekkno sound. But  the contract is signed, DONGAS can’t release anything douring 2 long years.  Rob and Ingo become daddies. 1998 A  ”Majordealproducerguyasshole” cheats the band  again.                         But one big thing happens, the band is  booked for CMJ festival in NYC. Brillant we became part of the legendary antifolk-scene  Gigs gigs gigs.... 1999 Ingo leaves the band, Uwe, old friend of us takes his place on the fat strings. 2000 With a lot of positive and new power we go to France, Belfort international musicfestival, Bootleg CD comes out. Rob becomes Daddy again. 2001 gigs gigs.. and we plan a new Studio CD. We finally admit we are not a popband and we are proud of it!!! 2002 New CD “139” is out (check out Button “Sound”). we rock Italy 2003 All we are saying is give peace a chance...Michael Moore for president!!! Short Tour through Germany, we supported Aereogramme, nice guys from Glasgow, brilliant music. 2004 . Welcome to the “Papa-Club” Lülle. We had a pretty good time on our Tour with JAFF from London, it has to be repeated some day, definetly!! 2005/2006 Dongas became a bit lazy, too much work on their solo careers. 2007/2008 Rob starts a new project “La famille Deuxrob” (very spacy Sound). We accomplish great things, getting babies, building houses, are creative in various projects. Dongaclass will be back on stage soon for 2009. Rob became a jury member of the “Deutscher Rock & Pop Preis 2008” (German Rock and Pop Award 2008) 2009 We celebrate 15 years Dongaclass and “25 years Rob on stage” 2010 Rob goes strange ways, check out the world championship song 2010 on www.villa-wolf.de
